End assembly of alcohols carefully chosen among the oldest reserves with a maturity of 17 years. A pretty successful and that was rewarded by numerous Great Gold Medals and trophies from the International Institute of Spirits.
The Mount Gay rum and no doubt one of the oldest in the world. Officially born in 1703 in Barbados, the home of rum, and was probably created in 1663 in the property on which it stands today the distillery. Always produced according to ancestral methods, its excellent reputation and today as the distinguished international version of Eclipse, version headlight range after 1910.
Color: acacia honey, with light green. Rum bright red ocher.
Nose: smoky, balsamic, good presence of notes of underbrush, beeswax and cedar wood. Very complex.
Mouth: soft attack prolonged by a beautiful aromatic amplitude. The toasted notes evoke the nose. Amertume marked in fine mouth.
Finale: long and powerful. Extends on notes and delicious pastry.
