GRAPES: 85% Negroamaro, 15% Malvasia Nera
WINE: Wine produced from ripe grapes and choices of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera, harvested by hand into crates and further selection on a conveyor belt, once they reach the cellar. Maceration took place in fermenters horizontal rotating 500 hectoliters. During this period (14 days), the wine completed its alcoholic fermentation at a temperature not exceeding 20 ° C, before being introduced in new oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation. The wine was racked and placed in barrels, where it remained for nine months, after which it was bottled. This was followed by an aging in bottle before release.
TASTING NOTES: intense ruby red color and deep reflections with amaranth. The nose shows aromas of cherry jam and captivating dates, notes of vanilla and liquorice. The palate is marked by hints of red fruits and sweet nuances of the wood. Warm, good fragrance, with delicate tannins vigorous however. Lingering finish.
